Many of us have lost a beloved Golden to one form or another of cancer. We have contributed to the Zeke Cancer Research Fund with the hope that research scientists will, at the very least, be able to find better methods of treatment, if not a cure, for dogs diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is not an abstract entity for us. It is the sweet memory of a warm, fuzzy face with a wet nose and a paw that perpetually asked for attention. This sector of the Golden Retriever Foundation web site is dedicated to the sweet Golden faces lost to one form or another of cancer - and to the families they left behind.

We are no longer taking memorials for this page because we are opening the new Virtual Memorial Garden.  Thank you to all those who have memorialized their beloved Goldens on these pages. You may continue to view these memorials until November 1, 2007.
